The Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) is an integral part of Living Faith Church’s mission to equip believers for service and leadership in God’s Kingdom. At WOFBI, we believe that the Word of God has the power to transform lives, and we are committed to providing the education and training that empowers students to make an eternal impact. As Dr. David Oyedepo often says, “There is no mountain anywhere; every man’s ignorance is his mountain.” WOFBI aims to eliminate ignorance, empowering students with divine wisdom and revelation that lead to success in every area of life.

Mission & Purpose

The mission of WOFBI is to train believers in the Word of Faith, build strong leaders, and prepare individuals to spread the gospel and influence the world through the application of biblical principles. Our goal is to raise a new generation of believers—empowered by the Word, guided by the Holy Spirit, and committed to living out their divine calling.

Curriculum Overview

The WOFBI curriculum is designed to provide spiritual, intellectual, and practical training. It covers a variety of subjects that are essential for anyone pursuing a life of leadership and ministry, including

The Word of Faith:
Strengthening the foundation of faith, understanding and applying God’s Word for victory in every area of life.

Leadership Development:
Teaching leadership principles that align with biblical truths, preparing students for service in both church ministry and the marketplace.

Ministerial Training:
Providing hands-on ministry training for those called to serve, focusing on preaching, pastoral care, and spiritual guidance.

Spiritual Growth:
Fostering a deeper, more intimate relationship with God through personal and collective spiritual disciplines.

Kingdom Expansion:
Preparing students to actively engage in evangelism and outreach efforts, advancing the Kingdom of God in their communities and the world.

Program Levels

WOFBI offers programs for believers at various levels of spiritual growth and leadership experience:

Basic Certificate Course (BCC)

This foundational program introduces students to the basics of Christian faith and the principles of the Word of Faith. It’s a prerequisite for progressing to advanced courses.

Leadership Certificate Course (LCC)

Building upon the BCC, the LCC focuses on developing leadership skills for service in ministry and the marketplace. It challenges students to lead with excellence and integrity.

Leadership Diploma Course (LDC)

The LDC is an advanced leadership program, ideal for those who have completed the LCC. This course equips students with deep spiritual wisdom and leadership principles to influence their world.

Non-Residential and Year-Round Learning

WOFBI operates on a non-residential basis, with classes available year-round to accommodate students from various backgrounds. To be eligible for the Leadership Certificate Course (LCC) and Leadership Diploma Course (LDC), students must first complete the BCC. English proficiency is required, and students must demonstrate literacy for successful participation.
